Every unit we sell — refurbished or brand new — carries the original HP manufacturer warranty. You deal directly with HP, not us.
HP Warranty — Minimum 90 Days
Every unit we sell carries the original HP manufacturer warranty for whatever time is remaining on that unit — with a guaranteed minimum of 90 days from your purchase date. MOST units ship with significantly longer coverage, so your actual coverage may be more than 90 days, up to 2 years.
Claim Direct With HP
You register your printer at hp.com/support and submit any warranty claim directly with HP. No middleman, no delays waiting on us.
HP Handles Shipping
For valid warranty repairs or replacements, HP provides the prepaid shipping. You do not pay for return shipping on warranty claims.
What's Covered
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Hardware failures under normal use (print mechanism, scanner, fuser)
- Electronic component failure (circuit boards, connectivity)
- Display and touchscreen malfunctions
- Paper feed and ADF (automatic document feeder) mechanism failures
- Print quality defects that are not caused by toner cartridges
What's Not Covered
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Toner cartridges (these have a separate, shorter warranty)
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function (scratches, dents)
- Damage from third-party software, supplies, or accessories
- Failure caused by operating outside specified environmental conditions
How to File a Warranty Claim

1Register your printer at HP
Go to register.hp.com and register using your printer's serial number (found on the back label). Do this within 30 days of purchase.

2Contact HP Support directly
Visit support.hp.com or call HP's support line. They'll diagnose the issue and determine if it's covered under warranty.

3HP sends a prepaid shipping label
For warranty repairs, HP provides a prepaid label. You ship the unit to HP's repair center at no cost to you.

4Repair or replacement
HP will repair or replace your unit, typically within 5–10 business days. You receive a repaired or equivalent replacement unit back from HP directly.
How Long Is My Warranty?
Each unit carries whatever HP manufacturer warranty time remains on it — we don't sort by warranty length before shipping. Every order is guaranteed a minimum of 90 days from your purchase date. Many units have considerably more remaining. If your unit has more than 90 days of HP warranty left, you get all of it.
You register directly with HP at register.hp.com using the serial number on the back of the printer. HP's system will show you your exact remaining coverage when you register.
